BANGKOK -- Thailand's health ministry said Monday that it has planned to administer the monkeypox vaccines to high risk groups.
The first batch of 1,000 doses of vaccine are expected to arrive in Thailand in the second half of this month, according to the ministry. (Thailand-Monkeypox-Vaccine)

SYDNEY -- Australia's central bank, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), has once again lifted interest rates by 0.5 percentage points, marking the first time the bank has lifted rates for four consecutive months.
On Tuesday RBA Governor Philip Lowe said the latest rise bringing interest rates to 1.85 percent was due to the "high priority" to return inflation to the 2-3 percent range. (Australia-Interest Rate Rise)

WELLINGTON -- New Zealand's Ministry of Health reported the third case of monkeypox in the country on Tuesday.
The person, who recently returned from overseas, is currently isolated in the South Island. There is no evidence of community transmission from this case, said the health ministry. (New Zealand-Monkeypox)

NEW DELHI -- India recorded its sixth monkeypox case, which is the second case in the national capital, late on Monday, a health department official in Delhi confirmed on Tuesday.
The patient is said to be a Nigerian national with no recent travel history. He was admitted to a government-run hospital for treatment of the viral infection. (India-Monkeypox Case)
