"Over the past 25 years, Macao's achievements and development are the most impressive. Now Macao is on the map as it's often called the 'Las Vegas of the East,' but it's also becoming a place known for education. The University of Macao is now among the top 200 (universities globally) according to the Times Higher Education ranking. Macao gets the best of both worlds. It has the mainland market and it has the international market, and that is an outgrowth of the 'one country, two systems' from a macro level. It's a great advantage to be part of the China market with a huge population of potential tourists and customers but also is connected to the world in an easier way." Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Macao, China.
