LAS VEGAS, the United States, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- The 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's premier tech show, concluded in the U.S. city of Las Vegas on Friday, showcasing the latest advancement, new products and solutions in consumer technology.
The annual event, running from Tuesday to Friday, drew over 4,500 exhibitors from more than 160 countries and regions, including about 1,400 startups.
Top trends of this year's show included artificial intelligence (AI), digital health, energy transition, mobility, quantum, and sustainability.
AI continues to be top theme at CES 2025, with new applications of AI across the show floor, driving everything from AI-powered chips to AI-enabled drug discovery to smart factory solutions.
Exhibitors worldwide revealed how AI is improving productivity, enhancing customer experiences, and driving medical breakthroughs.
The annual show also presented technologies like wearables, telemedicine, and AI-driven health solutions that aim to improve patient outcomes, enhance wellness, and lower healthcare costs.
Chinese companies have been important forces at CES in recent years, impressing global exhibitors with innovative products and solutions. Over 1,000 Chinese companies participated in CES 2025, including global leading brands as well as startups.
Many Chinese exhibitors were awarded CES Innovation Awards, an annual program honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products.
"Chinese brands are playing an increasingly important role in the development and technological advancement of the global consumer electronics industry," said the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) in a written interview with Xinhua.
In the first 11 months of 2024, the exports of Chinese electronic products topped 644.6 billion U.S. dollars, a 7.6 percent increase over the same period of the previous year, according to CCCME.
Since 2009, China's exports of machinery and electronic products have always ranked the first in the world, far exceeding Germany, the United States, Japan, the Republic of Korea and other countries, said CCCME.
The exports are expected to exceed 2.1 trillion dollars in 2024, marking a record high, and the surplus is expected to exceed 1 trillion dollars for the second consecutive year and set a new record, according to CCCME.
